But today, I will share relevant details about one of the most popular management exams known as MAT. Many aspirants don’t know the primary reason behind the popularity of MAT examination. Many individuals are pursuing Executive MBA degree through MAT examination, which is a cheap option compared to full-time management degree or diplomas. In previous years, students were not much interested in the MAT, because other management exams were more beneficial for them. But due to immense competition in other management exams such as CAT, XAT, etc, students started opting for MAT examination. AIMA conducts this exam both in computer-based and pen-paper modes.
AIMA has released MAT exam dates and important notifications for the September sessions in the last month. So if you are still not aware of it, then keep reading this article, to know all the latest notifications disclosed by AIMA.
MAT (September) 2019 registration process has already started for both pen-paper based and computer-based test. AIMA has disclosed the official dates. These all are the official dates, not the rumoured ones. It is requested that any student who has missed the official notification of AIMA, can follow these dates and register for the September session.
The next important thing after MAT 2019 (September) dates, you should know about the selection procedure. The selection procedure is pretty simple and similar to all other management entrance exams. The selection procedure of MAT starts just after the announcement of results. The selection procedure will vary according to the various criteria of different business schools. Some business schools offer seats based on MAT scores, and some follow the traditional selection procedure criteria. Once AIMA discloses the results, you have to send your MAT scores immediately. You can send your scores by registering yourself at AIMA. Students have the freedom to enter their desired five management institutes for the admission purpose. Make sure you check the cut-off marks of your desired institute for a quick interview call.
According to the cut-off marks, you have to apply at the official portal of the management institute to get eligible for the selection process. Depending on your preferred business school, you can be called directly for the interview. On the other hand, the business school can also mail you for the traditional selection procedure.
If you are eligible and shortlisted, you’ll receive a final call letter from the management institute.
As I have stated above, the admit cards for the pen-paper based test will be released by AIMA on 27th August 2019. On the other hand, for the computer-based test, admit cards will be released on 9th September 2019. It is mandatory that students download their respective admit cards from the official portal of AIMA. It is advised that students all the relevant details on the admit card such as venue, timings etc.
The results for both pen-paper based and computer-based test will be announced together on 28th September 2019. The results will be unveiled on the official website of AIMA. Students can download their scorecards by entering their registration numbers and roll number.
